Intabazwe is a Zulu-word that means 'flat mountain' or 'tablemountain'. The township belongs to the small town of Harrismith in the Eastern Freestate at the N3, the main road between Johannisburg and Durban. Intabazwe has a population of 56.000 people, the highest number in the nearby region. The population is 75% youth. Half of the residents are Zulu-speaking and half are Sotho-speaking people, a unique situation in Free State. The two tribes live side by side peacefully.

Here in Intabazwe are the roots of Stichting Intabazwe. Due to the departure of our contact person Muhle Joyce Mthembu we cannot realize projects for Intabazwe anymore.
